Frontier Water is seeking talented engineers to support our growing field operations team. Field engineers are primarily responsible for field operations and associated coordination including, but not limited to:

  • Operation, commissioning, management and field maintenance of pilots
  • Implementation, design, and collaboration regarding product design concepts
  • Commissioning of full-scale equipment
  • Research and Development Activities
  • Remote customer support
  • Shop testing, evaluation and QA/QC of equipment prior to shipment

Requirements and Expectations

The successful candidate must be willing to travel frequently for 1-2 week durations to North American & International project sites and be comfortable working independently and safely in the commissioning of large-scale field equipment. Ideal requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
  • Excellent English written and spoken communication language skills
  • Adhere to the principals of OSHA and MSHA safety guidelines
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Mechanical troubleshooting
  • Biological process design and troubleshooting
  • Sampling and analysis procedures
  • Ability to read and generate technical drawings including P&ID, ISA symbols, and GA
  • Equipment component terminology
